Beer Festivals tend to be held away from the main bar, perhaps in a function room or marquee. An extended range of beers will be offered direct from the cask and away from the cellar. Before the event (usually 24-48 hours) you need to have your casks racked, tapped and vented, allowing time for settling and cooling, ensuring that they are ready for eager drinkers on opening night. This of course raises questions of how to store and serve your beers at your event? Thankfully, there is a simple, practical solution.
